AI connector framework

MCP Fleet Foundation

A repeatable foundation for AI connections.

A reusable TypeScript framework for building AI connectors with consistent ownership, token checks and tool permissions.

The starting point

As AI applications connect to more services, each connection needs clear ownership and permissions. Repeating that setup from scratch makes maintenance harder.

The approach

The framework supplies a connector starter, shared token validation, tool permissions and a registry of ownership and delivery status. Separate authentication models make the authority behind a connection explicit.

Where it stands

Local checks cover synthetic connectors, authentication rules and the running HTTP interface. The framework does not yet supply a connected production service, a credential store or a hosted identity flow.

Demonstrated locally

Locally verified features

  • Generate isolated connectors from a consistent starter
  • Verify access tokens and enforce permissions for each tool
  • Validate a connector registry and reuse client and operating templates

Local verification uses synthetic records. It does not establish hosted availability.

The current boundary

What to know

Tested with synthetic connectors. Hosted identity, credential storage and real service connections remain future work.

Next meaningful step

What comes next

Qualify one real connector with its identity, credential handling and deployment requirements.
